Work with me

kelvinbytes is a passion project — written after hours, paid for out of my own pocket, and read by people who fix things for a living. Sponsorships, partnerships and review hardware are what keep it running and what let me test far more than I could afford to buy. If you have something in mind, I would genuinely like to hear about it.

Sponsorships

The most direct way to support the site, and the one that funds the hosting and the test bench. Clearly labelled, never dressed up as editorial. Tell me what you make and I will say honestly whether it fits what I cover before either of us spends any money.

Hardware and review units

Very welcome — a loan or a keeper both work, and something I would never have bought myself is usually the most interesting thing to write about. Send the spec sheet first and I will tell you straight away whether I can do it justice.

Partnerships

Software licences, tooling, affiliate programmes, a co-produced build, a long-term testbed. Small and practical is completely fine; it does not need to be a campaign with a deck behind it.

The one thing I will not sell

The verdict. No score agreed in advance, no paid link insertions, no ghostwritten guest posts. Every review says how the hardware was obtained and whether it went back. That disclosure is the whole reason a recommendation here is worth anything to your customers — it is what you are actually buying.

Readers

Corrections and follow-up questions still land here and still get answered first. If a fix did not work on your hardware, tell me — those are the messages that make the guides better.

Response time

Usually a few days. This is written around a working week, so a long silence is not a decision — send it again. If something is time-sensitive, say so up front and I will move it to the top.

Faults in a published script are better raised as an issue than as an email.
